BT RunClub was formed by The Big Table as an opportunity to love and encourage other people – in this case, in their running.
Our vision, is to see people improve their endurance in the context of community. To help runners and walkers grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually stronger as they identify and, in community, realise their running or fitness goals. It’s our prayer as a community at The Big Table, the Jesus would use us in different ways to bear witness to his grace and mercy as we go about this whole running thing.
We see no end of parallels between running and this marathon of faith that we’re on in Jesus. The writer of the Hebrews encourages us to ‘run with endurance’ the race marked out before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus: the starter and finisher of our faith. As we run, we see that powerful metaphor working out in and through us, in His name. In the joy, in the pain, and in the suffering.
Each session has its own coach to help you reach your next running or fitness goal. Whether your goal is to get fit, run a marathon, lower your PB or prepare for a particular race or distance, a consistent program and a group of runners spurring you on will help you get there while enjoying the journey.
We offer runners and multi-sport athletes the opportunity train with a experienced athletes and coaches and a motivated group of fellow athletes. BT RunClub believes that all athletes can improve and run with endurance regardless of their age or current ability. Our sessions can play a significant part in helping you run and race both faster and longer.
One of the regular instalments on the BT RunClub calendar is our Band of Sisters/Band of Brothers program: a 9-week program designed to take people who have never or barely run before, to running 5km.
From the elite to the expectant, BT RunClub will help you to run with endurance.
