Week 1: An introduction to covenant

Nothing but

God’s relationship with his creation is one based not on ritual and rule, but on relationship. From the beginning, it has been a relationship forged by covenants between an always-faithful God and an always-wandering people. Because of God’s jealous love for his creation, our unfaithfulness has not and does not thwart the never-giving-up love that God has for us. Ultimately, it’s a love that will result in a covenant forged and upheld by the ultimate covenant-keeper: His only Son, Jesus.
