At the top of the sixth chapter of Romans, Paul articulates a question he figures we all may be thinking after hearing all about the nature, features and benefits of the justifying work of Jesus on our behalf. He considers whether we should go crazy with our apparent license to sin in light of the goodness of the Gospel. The answer to the question lies in our new identity in Christ and the values of the new family into which we’ve been adopted.
