- In reading this psalm, my soul was encouraged, my spirit revived and my eyes turned heavenward once again. Yet as I attempt to type about it and share wise words, I find myself sorely lacking. I find my vocabulary insufficient to convey what the Holy Spirit does when I simply pick up the Word of God and read it. So here are my very simple thoughts on psalm 118.Give thanks. Seek refuge. His love endures forever.
Life can be bumpy sometimes, but this psalmist exalts us to take refuge and find comfort in the kingdom of God. To call on the name of the Lord in each and every circumstance in our lives. We can rejoice in what Jesus has done in becoming the cornerstone who was at first rejected. We can find solace EVERY time in the arms of Jesus, whose love endures forever.
His love endures forever. Thank God.
